Turning the car into the space

Every level shows a dashed bay with a P in it, tucked to one side, behind a building, or between two parked cars, so a straight roll forward never lines up. Drive there with the arrow keys, or hold the on screen buttons on a touch screen: up rolls the car forward, down reverses, and left and right turn the wheels while you are moving. To finish a level, the whole car needs to rest inside the bay, lined up straight, at a stop. Clip a wall or another car and you pop back to the start of the level for another try.

Slow, small taps win the level

Slow is smooth and smooth is fast: tiny taps on the controls beat holding them down. Remember the car only turns while it is rolling, just like a real one, so start the turn early and let it swing round. If the angle looks wrong, do not force it in; reverse, straighten up and take a second run. The reverse levels feel strange at first because the steering flips, and that is exactly the fun of them.

The spatial thinking behind parking

The car parking game is secretly a spatial reasoning workout. Judging angles, planning a path around a corner and making small careful corrections build the same mental rotation skills used in geometry, and the no-pressure bump counter teaches that precision is something you improve with patience rather than speed.

Frequently asked questions

How do you play the car parking game?

Every level puts the parking bay to the side, behind buildings or between other cars, so you have to turn to reach it, never just roll straight in. Use the arrow keys on a computer, or the on screen buttons on a phone: up drives forward, down reverses, and left and right steer while you are moving. Line the whole car up inside the bay and stop, and the level is done.

What happens if I bump something?

Nothing scary. The car pops back to the start of the level and your bump counter goes up. The edge of the lot flashes red so you can see what you clipped. Take it slow: careful beats fast in this game.

Why do the levels feel harder as they go?

The early levels ask for one turn into an open space. Later ones add corners to round, tight gaps between parked cars, and bays you can only reach by reversing, where the steering flips just like in a real car. Each new level adds a kind of turn rather than just a smaller space, so the skill builds a step at a time.
