Why kids love color sort
Color sort looks simple, and that is the trick. Each pour is easy, but choosing the right pour takes planning: which tube to empty first, which color to finish, and when to spend your precious empty space. That makes it one of the gentlest ways for a child to practice thinking two or three steps ahead, the same skill behind chess, math word problems and good decisions generally.
Start on easy with 4 colors and work up to the 10-color expert level. Because levels never run out, there is always another puzzle. For more planning games, try our puzzle games for kids or the classics in brain games.
