About Hangman
A hidden word appears as a row of blank spaces, one for each letter. Your job is to work out the word by guessing letters. Tap a letter, and if it is in the word, every place it appears is filled in. If the letter is not in the word, one of your balloons pops. You start with six balloons, so you can make a few wrong guesses, but try to guess the whole word before they all pop.
Tips for kids
Start with common vowels like A, E and I, since most words have them. Then try common letters like R, S, T and N. Once you can see some letters, say the word out loud and guess what it might be. Think about which letters usually go together.
Why it is good for kids
Hangman builds spelling, vocabulary and clever guessing. Children learn to spot letter patterns and sound out words, all in a friendly game. This version keeps things cheerful with balloons instead of the old picture.
