About Word Guess

The goal is to find the hidden 5 letter word in 6 tries. Type any 5 letter word and press Enter. The colors tell you how close you are. Green means that letter is correct and in the right place. Yellow means the letter is in the word but in a different place. Grey means the letter is not in the word at all. Use those clues to work out the answer step by step.

Tips for kids

Start with a word that has lots of common letters, like vowels. Look carefully at the green and yellow clues before your next guess, and try not to reuse grey letters. Say the letters out loud if it helps. There is no time limit, so take your time and think it through.
