About Key Hunt
A letter shows up in the Find box, and the same key lights up on the keyboard below. Your job is to press that key. You can use your real keyboard, or tap the highlighted key on the screen. Each correct key gives you a point, and a new letter appears. You have 60 seconds to find as many keys as you can. Because the key lights up, it is perfect for children who are just getting to know the keyboard.
Tips for kids
Try to remember where the common letters are so you do not have to search each time. Use both hands and let your fingers rest gently on the keys. Do not worry about speed at first, finding the right key is what matters, and speed will come naturally with practice.
Why it helps learning
Key Hunt builds keyboard familiarity, which is the first step to typing well. Once children know where the keys are without looking, faster typing games become much easier and more fun.
