About Pattern Memory
Press Start and watch the grid carefully. A few squares will light up for a moment and then go dark. Your job is to remember which squares lit up and tap them all. The order does not matter, you just need to find the right squares. If you tap them all correctly, you move up a level and the next pattern has one more square to remember. Tap a wrong square and the game ends, showing the level you reached. Your best level is saved.
Tips for kids
Try to see the lit squares as a shape or picture rather than separate dots, it is easier to remember a shape. Look at the whole grid at once instead of staring at one square. If it feels hard, slow down and take a breath before you start tapping.
Why it helps learning
Pattern Memory builds visual and spatial memory, which helps children with reading, math layouts and remembering where things are. It is a calm, focused challenge that gently stretches how much they can picture in their mind.
Frequently asked questions
How do you play Pattern Memory?
Some squares in the grid light up for a moment, then go dark. Tap the squares that lit up. Each round one more square is added, so the pattern gets bigger and harder to remember.
How is it different from Color Sequence?
In Color Sequence you repeat colors in the right order. In Pattern Memory you just need to remember which squares lit up, in any order, which is a different kind of memory.
Is it free?
Yes. Pattern Memory is free with no download and no sign-up, and it works on any device in your browser.
